Voila!

Well, I must admit, I am a competitive person and since there's NO WAY I will ever keep up with my blogging as faithful as some-you know who you are :)--I decided I'd update my blog seasonally before you know who did! It only took me going back and forth between pages and reading it over and over....and trying out this one and that one....until I reached a happy medium!
Today I did laundry--since it wasn't my bday anymore, it's back to the daily grind. I also put up the family Christmas tree. Ahhh, memories........when I was a kid we always had one of those short trees and every now and then a real live tree. Being a smell sensitive person that I am, I really don't like the smell of a real tree....I know I can hear you now.....well, hang on cuz I can't stand the smell of coffee or fresh cut grass or leather.......I know, I know, I know......
Where was I....ah, Christmas trees. I had a "pretty tree" in our living room that had a theme and only certain ornaments went on it, then I had a "family tree" that one was all the kids stuff and every color and blinking light I could find.....I'm a blinker mixed w/still lites gal....I know this can bring marriages to a hault...to blink or not to blink.....but Gary's a blinker too so we're good.
Then I also had a tree that was just for fun....I know. tree overkill, but one year I was channeling Martha and got carried away........
Last year it seems we didn't repack so well for the attic.....er...we chucked it all in walmart sacks and flinggggg into the dark scary attic it went. Strange, but they didn't weather so well over the summer....go figure. So this year, the pretty tree is a hodge podge of everything that survived and maybe enough leftovers to complete the poodle tree--that's what we call it cuz it looks like 2 round balls on top of one another with a tree trunk----really its fabulous when decorated with all my moms Christopher Radko ornaments....ohhh, mother............was I supposed to give those back?? Anyhoooo......what's on your tree?? We have everything from Precious Moments to hand painted rulers each of my kids have made at school......Thank goodness for teachers and all those Christmas projects or I could have a naked tree!! I'm not a tinsel gal though, mainly cause I hate cleaning it all up.....stems from childhood...my dad was a tinsel guy.....EVERY strand had to be hand strung one by freakin one.....ever so perfectly......but my therapist says it doesn't affect me anymore.............and let's not even talk about the wrapping of presents!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hellooooo...ahhhh..its been awhile! I do hope everybody had a most fabulous Thanksgiving and got to take a breather and just enjoy their family and friends! Today is 'Black Friday' some kind of big shoppin day...hmmm...I dunno. I was sleepin in while everybody else was going hogwild to get the bid deals.....yawnn...except for the text messages that came in at oh 5:36 AM....yes that's AM to wish me Happy Birthday!-Thanks Sherrie! But really you could have waited til oh 9:30ish.

Then about the time I go back to sleep....another text.....this time from Cindy P. same message.

SO, I am thankful for my faithful texting friends that think nuttin about waking me up when clearly I need my beauty sleep! Lots of anti wrinkle beauty sleep! LOL

Then my girls ever so quietly----y'all know they sounded like a herd of buffalo--made me breakfast..........and guess what they "made"? a breakfast burrito and tator tots from --where else--SONIC! Today I will milk this birthday thing as much as humanly possible........the kids can't fuss w/each other, I can't do laundry or dishes and somebody besides me will clean out the car!

So, today I heard the B.C.Clarks jingle.......its offically the holiday season!!

Let the cookie dough thaw and get out the Christmas lights!!

TAAA-DAAAAA!!!!!!!!!

Yea ME! I must express my pure joy in myself--not so proper I know--but I went to insurance school and took the state exam-not 1 but 2 exams--and PASSED!! I am now a bonafied Life, Accident & Health Insurance agent!!!!!!!!!! I'M SO EXCITED.........(insert happy dance here)
This all happened last week and ya'll thought I couldn't keep a secret!!
I will start Monday with Pennsylvania Life company. Now, I am not giving up real estate, but its been painfully slow, so I decided to broaden my horizon!!
I was saying to Gary, do you realize how many differnet things I've sold? Yep, he does, cuz he's the one always paying for my "new starter kit", enrollment fee, or in this case, state exams.
God love him!
Let's see, I've sold mens clothing, womens clothing, kids clothes, perfume, make-up,handbags,
kitchen tools, gourmet food mixes and real estate....and now insurance. Whewwww....it's a good thing I'm a talker, huh! I'll keep you posted as to how it goes...I'll be a real estate/insurance guru--it'll be great I'm sure :)

As far as random posts....Ms.B....have you not read the TITLE of my blog? LOL

How did I not know??

Last nite I had to go pick up my 16&1/2 JR. in high school who STILL doesn't drive (he says he's too busy to worry about that rite now) from orchestra and I saw the greatest thing.....a laundromat. I've never been in a laundromat. I thought they were only on TV. ( i lead a very sheltered life ya know) but there it was, rows of washers and dryers..amd actual people in there doing laundry....ya'll realize I'm obsessed w/laundry yeah....it immediately made me think I could do ALL of it at once....use 10 washers and 10 dryers and VOILA!! Then I would just have to iron it all when I got home.
Yes people..I said iron it all....it all began in 3rd grade when I used to lay on the bed and watch my mother iron clothes and just chat away......anyhow, nothing goes in the closet until it's ready to wear and that means ironed! I know, I can hear ya'll now.......my mom irons pillow cases people......I don't I swear....napkins-yes, pillowcases no.
You are prolly wondering does this blog have a point? Nah not really.

Other random details:
Back on the no carb thing again, expect random, pointless blogs in the future. Lack of sugar makes me loopy, more so than usual.
Tonight is my FAV reality TV show---Real Housewives of Atlanta....total brain mush, but I *heart* it....and then there's the blogs........o the joy.
Dinner tonight was turkey burgers (no bun) and salad...and my family actually ate all of it and LIKED it.
Every member of the fam...no complaints...Gary said, "God is at work tonight."
Strangely enough Taylor is playing w/Karlie Sophia.....this is news cuz she only likes the idea of a dog, not actually playing with, taking care of, or paying attention to a dog. So, big nite for KS.
Only 221 days til my high school reunion..........I knew you'd want to know.
New dark hair color has taken away my striking resemblance to Christie Brinkley. **SIGH**
I have faced the realization my bra really doesn't fit. Double SIGH
I have just been asked if you can simplfy 2/25ths..........emmm........Brady!!!
I am honest w/my kids, some of you aren't. I have no problem telling them Hey, all that stuff you are doing rite now, yeah well, you'll never use it in real life! Gary just asked Maddie if she got a good grade on a paper she had to interview 10 people about, but didn't really have 10 people to ask that night at 8:45 due the next day, she replied, o I just put down so and sos names...he says Is that what MOM told u to do? LIKE WHY WOULD U THINK I TOLD HER THAT? Go back in ur mancave Johnie-rulebook......
